The Serene Psychology Signature Patterns Profile Map (Part One)

The Serene Psychology Signature Patterns Profile Map (SPSPPM) is a gentle, insight-building questionnaire series designed to help you identify your dominant signature patterns that influence how you think, feel, and respond. It explores subconscious schemas, emotional reactions, protection styles, and the stories we may carry without realising. By bringing these inner patterns into awareness, the SPSPPM offers a clearer understanding of what is helping you — and what may be quietly holding you back. With this awareness, you’re better able to choose new ways of thinking and responding that feel more aligned with who you want to be.

There are a number of questionnaires in this series which you will need to complete to complete your entire profile map. This is Part One of the series of questionnaires, other elements for the series are still in the design phase. You can visit our website and opt to stay in touch to receive updates on the additional questionnaires in the series to complete your entire profile map as these are launched.

This particular questionnaire of the  SPSPPM series, Part One, opperationalises your dominant preferences and preferred styles of behaviour or responses that are consistent over times and situations. This questionnaire is not a test, there are no wrong or right answers it simply indicates preferences and measures abilities.  Please note this questionnaire It is not a formal diagnostic assessment and should not be used in replacement of professional medical advice.

This questionnaire in the SPSPPM series has been designed using a methodology similar to personality-type inventories such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Participants answer a series of Yes/No questions, and their responses are aggregated to assign them to one of a number of personality-type categories or “profiles,” similar to how MBTI yields a 4-letter type. As with MBTI, the aim is not to diagnose a mental disorder but to provide a general categorisation of personal preferences/traits based on patterns in the responses. This questionnaire is composed of 12 questions and should only take a few short minutes to complete.

Try not to spend too much time on a single question or be overly factual in your response as the assessment is designed force choice by selecting dominant preferences. Select the response that is true for you most of the time and accurately reflects you in the hear and now, not who you would prefer to be.
